Our History
Company Profile:
The company
enjoys the luxury of having a management team with extensive experience in the
commercial enforcement arena. The combined team experience in this field
exceeds 50 years in federal and state commercial enforcement and management.
U.S. - Mr. Jim
Gegg, Mr. Vince Calderon and Mr. Raymond Ramirez developed Mexico Trucking
Consultants, Inc. Their experience was gained in the California Highway Patrol
Commercial Programs; Mr. Gegg also brings to the staff over 6 years experience
as an investigator for the U. S. Department of Transportation (DOT) where he
specialized in the areas of laws and regulations related to federal compliance
and is highly regarded as one of the industry’s most knowledgeable individuals
in this area.
Our Founders:

Vince Calderon brings 36
years of law enforcement experience (California Highway Patrol) the last 23
years in the supervisor and management field. Mr. Calderon was instrumental
in developing the State of California’s first two commercial vehicle
inspection facilities located in Otay Mesa and Calexico, California. He
commanded the Otay Mesa facility from 1995 to 1999; while there, he
coordinated the development of commercial vehicle inspection training
programs for other states as well as Mexico.

Jim Gegg brings an
impressive resume of extensive U. S. Department of Transportation (DOT)
knowledge and experience as a D.O.T. Investigator. Mr. Gegg is also a
retired California Highway Patrol Officer and has the distinction of being
regarded as one of the trucking industries most knowledgeable individual in
the areas of laws and regulations related to compliance in regards to the
trucking industry.

Ray Ramirez recently
retired from the California Highway Patrol where his last 8 years were in
the field of commercial vehicle enforcement; 3 years at the Otay Mesa
Inspection Facility and 5 years assigned as the Mobil Road Enforcement
Officer (MRE) for the San Diego County. His knowledge in the laws and
regulations governing commercial vehicle enforcement is extensive.
